WELCOME TO JOMAC!

JOMAC, one of South Africa's oldest Model Aircraft Clubs, has been in existence for nearly forty years. Due to housing development, the Club was forced to move to its new home near Northern Farms.  The Club's asphalt runway is 200 metres long, 12 metres wide and super smooth, well capable of accommodating any type of aircraft, including jets.  A parallel, grass runway is being developed for gliders, and those big scale aircraft.

The Club is well known for hosting a May Day fly-in each year which in the past has attracted RC pilots from across the country and has been featured in various magazines.

Being out in the country, the Club is provided with an exceptional braai area, lapa and toilets, but unfortunately has no running water.

We encourage all age groups to come and fly, and consequently have three Membership categories, Junior, Senior and Pensioner.

New prospective members can make arrangements to visit the Club and meet experienced pilots who will assist them in learning to fly safely and responsibly.

Membership of SAMAA is mandatory to become a member of the Club.
